Every year on the 29th of August, India comes together to celebrate National Sports Day in honor of the legendary hockey icon, Major Dhyan Chand. This special day is dedicated to recognizing the contributions of our nation's sports heroes and champions who have brought pride to our country. The main aim is to spread awareness about the important values that sports teach us: discipline, determination, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The day also encourages everyone to embrace sports as a crucial part of their lives, promoting fitness and well-being. Physical activity is not only good for our bodies but also impacts our emotions, thoughts, surroundings, and even our spirits. This event is organized to inspire learners to be active and enjoy the benefits of being physically fit. About the Conference:

SSAHS proudly announces its 3rd International Forensic Forum 2023 (IFF2023) on October 19, 20 & 21 in hybrid mode at School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida.

We successfully conducted our 2nd conference on November 21, 22 & 23 in 2022 in hybrid mode at School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida. Our 1st conference was conducted on June 28-30, 2021. Both previous conferences were a great success with large number of participants attending the conference.

IFF2023 has been designed for Forensic Scientists, laboratory professionals, Academicians, Lawyers, Research scholar and Forensic Science students. The aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity to bring together the scientific community, academia and corporates to share and discuss avenues of further research in this field.

The three days International Conference will have pre-conference workshop on first day of the conference on 19th October 2023.  On 20th and 21st October 2023, there will be series of invited lectures, oral and poster presentations by the participants representing various Forensic Science organizations

About Vega Microprocessor

Digital India RISC-V Microprocessor (DIR-V) Program was launched by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) as one of the concrete steps towards “Atmanirbhar Bharat”, with an aim to enable creation of Microprocessors for the future, in India, for the world and achieve industry-grade silicon. This program will make India not only a RISC-V Talent Hub for the World but also supplier of RISC-V SoCs for a wide range of applications. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) a premier R & D organization under the MeitY, Govt. of India for
carrying out Research and Development activities in IT, Electronics and associated areas for strengthening national technological capabilities. As part of the DIR-V Program C-DAC has successfully developed the VEGA series of microprocessors and related IPs and the complete ecosystem to enable fully indigenous product development that meets various requirements in the strategic, industrial and commercial sectors. These high performance processors are based on the free and open source RISC-V Instruction Set Architecture.

About Workshop

This is a national workshop on the newly launched indigenous RISC-V based VEGA Processors. Experts from C-DAC, who are part of VEGA Processor development team, will be the resource persons. The DIR-V VEGA workshop will provide an insight into the VEGA series of processors and ecosystem focusing on both the theoretical and practical aspects of the VEGA processors, development boards, SDK and on building applications. The hands-on sessions will be conducted on the ARIES development board which is Arduino compatible. Certi cates will be issued after the successful completion of the workshop.

Sharda School of Law, Sharda University is organizing 7th Anand Swaroop Gupta Memorial International Moot Court Competition, 2023 from 16th March- 18th March in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India.   

Sharda School of Law has an active Moot Court Society which organizes Inter-School Moot Court Competition on yearly basis and Intra Moot Court Competitions on regular basis. To judge these competitions, we invite panel of expert comprising of academicians, prominent professionals and both retired & sitting judges.

Every year moot problem of our competition involves issues which are based on contemporary and contentious issues. Following the same legacy, this year as well moot preposition is designed in the area pertaining to competition law and information technology.

The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bonafide on a regular basis in an undergraduate Law course (5 years integrated Law course/3 Year L.L.B Course) or postgraduate Law course (LLM course) conducted by any recognized Institution/College/University of any country.

Registration Procedure

Fee Details

The Registration Fee is INR 3,500/- national teams. The International teams may contact us for details regarding registration and payment.

Payment of Registration Fee

  • Indian Teams must make payment by Online Payment/Demand Draft.
  • Payment by all other teams must be made by Online Payment/Bank Transfer. The procedure for the same has been provided in the registration form.
  • All the formalities concerning the registration process should be completed by February 28, 2023.

Awards and Accolades

  • The Winning Team shall be awarded a Trophy and a cash prize of 50,000/- INR and 1 year subscription for all 3 members of SCC ONLINE.
  • The Runners-up Team shall be awarded a Trophy and a cash prize of 25,000/- INR and 1 year subscription for all 3 members of EBC ONLINE.
  • The Best Speaker (Male and Female) shall be awarded a Trophy and a cash prize of 5,000/- INR.

Sharda University is presenting this initiative to engage the youth of the nation starting the morning of 3rd to 4th February 2023, wherever you work, wherever you are in the world – feel free to offset the hours as you like – we invite you to join in the spirit of hackathon by building the idea youve been thinking about and put together a working version to show the world. This event is being organized as we feel that innovation is best demonstrated by bringing ideas to life, even if the first version may not be perfect. Sharda School of Business Studies is organizing a workshop on Data Analytics using R Programming.

R is the most popular language in the world of Data Science. It is heavily used in analyzing data that is both structured and unstructured. This has made R, the standard language for performing statistical operations. R allows various features that set it apart from other Data Science languages.

Conventionally, R was mostly used in academia but with the emergence of Data Science, the need for R in industries became evident.

It is used in almost every industry, ranging from finance, and banking to medicine and manufacturing. R is used for portfolio management, and risk analytics in finance and banking industries.

R is also used to implement various statistical measures to optimize industrial processes.

The objective of the Event:
 

The workshop will give participants an overview of the basics of R and R Studio. R is a simple programming environment that enables the effective handling of data, while providing excellent graphical support. R Studio is a tool that provides a user-friendly environment for working with R.

Center for Cyber Security and Cryptology (CCS&C), Sharda University is organizing a two-week certificate training program on “Cyber Security and Digital Forensic” during January 2-13, 2023, for students, researchers, faculty members and industry professionals.

This program will provide a strong foundation of the theoretical and practical aspects of the different dimensions of cyber security, such as cryptography, network security, software security, system security measures and models, information security, computer forensics and knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory requirements, security audit etc.

The programme will be offered in hybrid mode. For offline candidates the venue for this program would be the Center for Cyber Security and Cryptology at Sharda University, Greater Noida. The content of this course will be covered in 40 sessions, each of 90 minutes.
