About Suno Sharda 90.8 FM

Launched on 16 December 2015, Suno Sharda 90.8 FM is the community radio station of Sharda University, committed to empowering communities through information, education, and entertainment. Operating as a not-for-profit station, it serves listeners within a 15-kilometre terrestrial radius while also reaching global audiences through Radio Garden and the Suno Sharda Android App.

Empanelled with the Bureau of Outreach and Communication (formerly Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity), Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Suno Sharda has emerged as a vibrant platform for community engagement, experiential learning, and social impact.

The station serves as a dynamic training hub for aspiring media professionals, attracting interns not only from Sharda University but also from institutions across North India. Community members are actively encouraged to participate by conceptualising and hosting programmes, making the station a true voice of the community.

Suno Sharda's programming is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and covers a wide spectrum of themes, including health, education, women empowerment, legal awareness, agriculture, entrepreneurship, culture, environmental sustainability, sanitation, local governance, folk arts, youth development, and inspirational stories.
