The 2025 theme, A Happy Mouth is... A Happy Mind. This theme emphasized the connection between oral health and mental wellbeing. Dental health can affect the functional, psychological and social dimensions of a childs well-being. Oral pain has devastating effects on children, including sleep, behavioural problems and poor leaning. Dental decay in children is an important public health issue. Oral health is the condition of the mouth, teeth, and Oro-facial structures that enable individuals to perform essential functions such as speaking, breathing and eating. A health awareness programme must be organized to spread knowledge about healthy oral health practices. The 2025 campaign focuses on the intricate link between oral health and general health of the childrens.
An event on “WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY” was scheduled on March 20th 2025, at :1100am to 12:30 pm in Little Wings Day Care Centre & play school, Sharda University along with recreational activity and skit by the Child Health Nursing Department, Sharda School of Nursing Science.The goal of the event was to promote “ORAL HEALTH” among children, the children at the centre actively participated in the event. The management staff appreciated the organising team for conducting useful and knowledgeable programme that helps the children understand the value of oral health. At the end of event, all the children were given small token of appreciation for their active participation in the event.
