“World Leprosy Day-Public Awareness Programme” on 30th January 2026

On the occasion of World Leprosy Day, Department of Dermatology, Venereology & leprosy, School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda Hospital, Sharda Univesity is organizing a “World Leprosy Day-Public Awareness Programme” on 30th January 2026.

Objective of Events:

• To raise public awareness about leprosy by addressing myths, reducing stigma, and promoting understanding of its early signs, treatment, and curability.
• The programme aims to educate patients, caregivers, and the community to encourage timely diagnosis, treatment adherence, and compassionate attitudes toward individuals affected by leprosy.
