West Bengal Foundation Day Celebrated with Cultural Grandeur

Sharda University celebrated West Bengal Foundation Day (Paschim Banga Divas) with great enthusiasm, bringing together over 300 students, faculty members, Deans, and guests to honor the rich cultural heritage of West Bengal.

The programme began with a traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, followed by addresses from university leaders highlighting the state's significant contributions to literature, arts, education, and India's freedom movement.

The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances, including Bengali Folk Dance, Rabindra Sangeet, Rabindra Nritya, instrumental music, and poetry recitations, showcasing Bengal's rich artistic traditions.

Students also participated in an informative presentation and interactive quiz on the history, culture, and achievements of West Bengal, making the event both engaging and educational.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, celebrating the spirit of "Unity in Diversity" and reaffirming the university's commitment to promoting cultural awareness and national integration.
