Visit to India TV to attend a Interview based Show, “30 Saal Se Rani”
27 Jan 2026
The industrial visit to India TV on January 27, 2026, organized by the Department of Mass Communication under the Sharda School of Media, Film and Entertainment, proved to be a highly enriching academic experience for students. The visit was conducted as part of an interview-based show titled “30 Saal Se Rani,” featuring renowned Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji, who marked 30 years in the film industry while promoting her upcoming film Mardaani 3, centered on the critical issue of human trafficking. The show was hosted by Sourabh Sharma and Meenakshi, and students were given the opportunity to closely observe the dynamics of a professional studio environment.
During the visit, students gained practical insights into live television production, including the planning, coordination, and execution of an interview-based program. They observed various technical and creative roles such as camera operations, lighting, sound management, scripting, and floor coordination, which enhanced their understanding of studio-based media production. The interaction segment allowed students to engage directly by asking questions, thereby improving their communication and interviewing skills. The experience effectively bridged the gap between theoretical classroom learning and real-world media practices. Overall, the visit was informative, engaging, and inspiring, fostering a deeper appreciation for media workflows and encouraging students to actively participate in future media-related activities.
