Varnika: Shades of the Nation (A Poster Making Competition)

14 Aug 2025

As part of the Independence Day Celebrations, the Sharda School of Humanities & Social Sciences is organizing a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: 75+ Years of Independence.” The event offers an opportunity for students to visually express their reflections on Indias rich journey—from its struggle for freedom to its evolving identity as a vibrant, democratic, and diverse nation. Participants will creatively depict significant historical milestones, cultural values, visionary aspirations, and contemporary challenges that shape India's national narrative. The competition invites both undergraduate and postgraduate students to explore sub-themes spanning patriotism, social change, sustainability, digital progress, and the role of youth in nation-building. Through colors, symbols, and visuals, this event aims to celebrate Indias enduring spirit while inspiring a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices, resilience, and aspirations that define the Indian ethos.
