Sigh of Sky: International Day of Clean Air for Blue Sky

On September 7, 2024, the Department of Geography, School of Social Sciences and Humanities at Sharda University organized a campaign to raise environmental awareness and engage the younger generation in addressing air quality issues. This initiative was held in observance of the International Day of Clean Air for blue skies, which was established by a resolution adopted on November 26, 2019, during the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The resolution highlights the urgent need to improve air quality globally and stresses the importance of raising public awareness at all levels.
