Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, organized a vibrant celebration titled “RangRoshni: A Festive Fusion” on 13th October 2025 at Block 7, Sharda University, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The event was a grand celebration of the spirit of Diwali, blending cultural vibrancy, creativity, and togetherness.

The celebration featured a series of engaging activities such as Rangoli Making, Diya Decoration, and other festive competitions that encouraged artistic expression and creative excellence among students. With around 500 students participating, the event successfully brought together the entire law school community, fostering a sense of unity and joy.

The initiative aimed to provide a holistic platform for student development beyond academics. It encouraged leadership, teamwork, and event management skills by involving students as volunteer coordinators and organizers. Moreover, the celebration served as a cultural learning experience, emphasizing the essence of Diwali as the “Festival of Lights”, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge and goodness over ignorance and darkness.

The event was held under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave, Dean, Sharda School of Law, and coordinated by Ms. Saumya and Ms. Priyanka Bisht, Assistant Professors, Sharda School of Law. The student coordinators, Aasiya Parwez, Deepanshu Chaudhary, Abhay Bhati, Priyanshi Sharma, and Manjeet Kumar played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution and success of the programme.

The event concluded with a cultural showcase at the Chanakya Auditorium, where students presented musical, traditional fashion walk and dance performances, radiating festive energy and enthusiasm. RangRoshni not only illuminated the campus with lights and colours but also strengthened the bond among students and faculty, making it a memorable and meaningful celebration of joy, creativity, and togetherness.
