Industrial Visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd.

The Department of Life Sciences (Food Science and Technology and Microbiology), Sharda School of Bio-Sciences & Technology, Sharda University, proposes to organize an industrial visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., Indias largest probiotic manufacturing facility. During the visit, students will observe the processes and machinery involved in the manufacturing of the probiotic drink Yakult and gain practical exposure to industrial production systems, quality practices, and operational workflows. The visit also aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of career opportunities, workplace culture, and placement processes within the organization by interacting with industry professionals and learning about the skills and competencies required for various roles in the food and probiotic industry. Additionally, the programme will offer students valuable networking opportunities that may support future internships and placements. The key objectives of the event are to help students understand the manufacturing process of probiotic beverages, create awareness regarding industrial machinery and working processes, enhance practical and professional skills, and explore training and placement opportunities in the food industry.
