Hostellers of Sharda University campus commemorated Durga Puja Celebration from 21-23 October, 2023.

The event of Durga Puja was celebrated in a very traditional way in Sharda University. Everyone remembered Goddess Maa Durga by heart and soul. On the day of Jagran and Mahaashtami, Sharda University echoed with the voice of Jai Mata Di.

DAY 1 – JAGRAN NIGHT

All the student specially staying in Sharda Campus celebrated the Jagran night with great enthusiasm, all the people rejoiced in the jagran of Maa durga, Radhakrishna and Shiva Parvati's jhanki also came, after seeing the beauty, all the people became very joyful everyone called out to Maa Durga from their heart. Good artists and singers were called up in Jagran who sang good and very devotional songs of Maa. Students listened to the lovely songs of Maa Durga and danced engrossed in devotion to Maa Durga. The lawn in front of Block 4 echoed with the sounds of Jai Mata Di. 

 DAY 2 – MAHA AARTI , DANCE AND PAINTING COMPETITION

On the occasion of Maha Ashtami, Maha Aarti of Maa Durga took place. The Hostellers students organized a dance and painting competition in which Sharda University girls students took part in it. The Chief wardens of Sharda University became judges in the competitions.
