Donation Drive at the Government Juvenile Observation Home (Boys) and Government Child Care Institution

The Juvenile Justice Wing of the Pro Bono Club, Legal Aid Society, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, successfully organised a Donation Drive at the Government Juvenile Observation Home (Boys) and Government Child Care Institution, Gautam Buddha Nagar, reaffirming our commitment to social responsibility, child welfare, and meaningful community engagement. The initiative aimed to provide essential items to children in institutional care while fostering empathy, compassion, and a spirit of service among our students. The overwhelming support from faculty members, students, and donors made this initiative both meaningful and impactful. We were privileged to welcome Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ajay Bhanot, Judge, Allahabad High Court, and Shri Atul Srivastava, District Judge, Gautam Buddha Nagar, whose inspiring presence and interaction with the juveniles underscored the importance of rehabilitation, dignity, and access to justice for every child. The event was organised under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave, Dean, Sharda School of Law, and was coordinated by Dr. Vaishali Arora and Dr Manvendra Singh. We sincerely thank the officials of the Government Juvenile Observation Home (Boys), Government Child Care Institution, all faculty members, student volunteers, and every donor who contributed to the success of this initiative. Together, we continue to uphold the ideals of Nyaya Bandhu – Pro Bono Legal Services, striving to create a more compassionate, inclusive, and just society.
