79th Independence Day Celebration

On Friday, 15th August 2025, Sharda University came alive with patriotic spirit as the entire campus gathered to celebrate the 79th Independence Day. The day began with students, faculty, and staff assembling on the lawn, where the NCC Cadets proudly presented the Guard of Honour. The national flag was then hoisted, as everyone stood in unison to sing the National Anthem, a moment that filled the air with pride and unity.
The celebrations moved to the Anand Swaroop Auditorium, where dignitaries addressed the audience with powerful speeches. They paid tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reminded everyone of the shared responsibility to uphold the values of liberty, equality, and unity that define our nation.
Adding a vibrant touch to the morning, students showcased a series of cultural performances that celebrated India's diverse heritage — from music and dance to poetry and drama, the talent on display was both inspiring and heartwarming.
The event concluded with the distribution of tea and sweets, creating a joyful and communal atmosphere. The active involvement of the Sharda University community made the occasion not just a celebration, but a reaffirmation of our shared identity and national pride.
