Dental
Overview
A BDS prepares students for general dental practice, while an MDS enables them to develop recognised expertise in a chosen speciality. The postgraduate Dental programmes at Sharda University support this transition through advanced clinical training, focused academic learning and meaningful research exposure.
Students strengthen their understanding of diagnosis, treatment planning, specialised procedures, surgical techniques and evidence-based dentistry. Supervised patient care, case discussions, seminars and research projects to help them refine their clinical judgement and manage complex cases with greater confidence and precision.
This specialised preparation opens pathways to advanced clinical and surgical practice, hospital dentistry, academics and research. Graduates can also establish speciality clinics, contribute to developments in oral healthcare and build stronger professional recognition.
