Ritika Sharma is a visual artists and art educator based in New Delhi, India. She has her MFA in Painting from College of Art, Delhi University and BFA – Painting from the same institute. She has worked with numerous art spaces including; FICA (Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art), SAP (Serendipity Arts Foundation), Aga Khan Foundation, Piramal Art Foundation, Sahitya Kala Parishad, Lalit kala Academy, FSL India, and Udyan Care Foundation.
She has an experience for 2.5 years of working as an Assistant Professor in College of Art, Delhi University. As well as organizing seminars for Primary School Teachers in collaboration with Aga Khan foundation for creative learning. She has worked as a research scholar at Lalit Kala Academy, Garhi Studios and have actively participated in numerous art events including; Colouring the World, Cycle 20 an Art Residency Program at Piramal Art Foundation, Moving Images- A course exploring Light, Movement and Moment organized by FICA and SAT, International Artists Residency at Art for Change Foundation, Aesthetic Imagination at South Asian University and National Art Conclave at Chitrakala Parishad.
She has been awarded with prestigious Scholarship to Young Artists by Ministry of Culture, Studio Grant by Lalit Kala Academy, Merit Award in Painting Category by Sahitya Kala Parishad and Awarded for National exhibition of Contemporary Art Exhibition by Artscape. She has shown her works at Call to Disorder at Serendipity Art Festival 2019, Engaging with Inequalities at Alliance Francaise de (Gurugram), Rigel at Orissa Modern Art Gallery (Bhubaneshwar), Pidgin at NIV Art Centre (New Delhi), Meri-Dilli at Shridharani Art Gallery, 58th National Exhibition at NGMA Bengaluru, 29th National Exhibition of Contemporary Art by SCZCC at State Art Gallery, Hyderabad. 124th Annual Art Exhibition by Bombay Art Society at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. Ritika is currently based and practicing in New Delhi.
