About Department

The Operations Management & Supply Chain Management (OM & SCM)  Department at Sharda University equips students with a combination of analytical, technological and interpersonal skills to meet the organisational goals and business challenges of a modern enterprise. The mission of the department is to prepare students for careers in a world with rapid changes.

As a learning institution, the department constantly strives to generate new knowledge through applied research and tries to incorporate the best of research-developed content and methodology for the delivery of its programmes.

The Department of Operations Management brings together a variety of industrial experience and diverse academic disciplines. It houses a team of highly dedicated professors who have various published articles and research papers in prestigious journals. All the members of the department operate as a team through their teaching, joint research activities and social events. The faculty has developed effective partnerships with many renowned academic and industrial organisations.

Awards & Achievements

Professors fromOperations Management & Supply Chain Management (OM & SCM) Department were invited for conducting a Management Development Programme on “Research Methodology” for the Research Scholars with Army background at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) India Army from 17th to 23rd December 2015.
