Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT)

This program views occupational therapy as the practice of using occupation as a therapeutic means to optimize an individual’s health, wellbeing and quality of life. Throughout their lives, people have the right to actively choose and participate in occupations which add meaning, purpose and value to everyday life, regardless of ability, age, gender, ethnicity, beliefs and/or other status. The occupational therapy program promotes the value of human diversity, fundamental human rights, and the dignity and worth of every client. Occupational therapy is a client-centred process that facilitates an individual's performance of chosen life roles and everyday tasks across the lifespan, within diverse social, cultural and physical environments. 

  • Sr. Secondary (10+2) with Biology or Life Sciences as one of the subjects with minimum 45% marks
  • Good knowledge of English

Selection is based on screening, merit and personal interview, etc.

A Occupational Therapist may find jobs in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics industries, rehabilitation centre to optimize the work out-come of the involved human resource or can continue with own private practice as advisor to concerned industry.
