About the Journal
(A bi-annual blind peer-reviewed journal)
Sharda Law Review (SLR) is a bi-annual blind peer-reviewed journal published by the School of Law - Sharda University, Greater Noida. The Inaugural edition of the Journal consists of editors of the highest repute, legal luminaries and dignitaries. The first edition of the journal was published in August 2021. (ISSN 2583-2476).
In the contemporary world of the knowledge society, understanding the legal dimensions of an individual’s life constitutes the major crux and thrust of social science research. Against this backdrop, the SLR stands to serve as a mirror to all these conflicting currents of Law & Society. It publishes research writings in the Socio-Legal field that seek to explain different aspects of individuals in relation to their society, polity, economy, culture, and psychological well-being. The journal covers a wide variety of sub-fields of social science research mainly focusing on the conflicting currents of socio-economic, psychological, and political aspects of human life in a contemporary globalized society.
SLR aims to publish original ideas and creations whether in the form of Research Paper, Articles, Case Comments or Book Reviews, etc. The journal is published bi-annually 6th and 12th months of every calendar year.

Submission Guidelines
- Submissions are accepted only in the English language.
- All articles/papers must be accompanied by abstract not exceeding 300-500 words. Case
- Comments and Book Reviews do not need to be accompanied by abstracts.
- The abstract must expressly include the originality and usefulness of the idea that the author wishes to put forth and must categorically mention the specific contribution of the article beyond the existing available literature.

- Co-authorship (with no cap on authors) is permitted for all articles.
- The manuscript should not contain any reference to the identity of the authors. However, authors are allowed to cite their previous published works.
- The body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12, and 1.5-line spacing.
- The paper references should be in APA format.
- There must not be footnoting, only endnote/references.
- Content taken from online sources must be referred with the title/caption of the literature along with the name/s of authors following the APA style referencing of online-data base literature.
- The first page should be of Abstract wherein below the title of the paper, author/s name should be mentioned along with their institutional affiliation.
- At the end of the Abstract, there must be Key Words.
- Starting from introduction to conclusion & suggestions, each topic, sub-topics must be properly indexed without underling.
- Only the first letter of each words used for topic and sub-topics should be in Capital.
- Except the case-name, no content should be in italics.
How to Submit
(For the rolling submissions) Kindly send your manuscript in MS Word (.docx) without any formatting like bordering and page numbering etc. to the email:
journal.law@sharda.ac.in.
The subject of the email should be "Submission for SLR Volume No.....Issue No......"
The submissions can be sent anytime as SLR accepts manuscripts on a rolling basis. Manuscripts received after the submission deadline shall be considered for publication in the next edition/issues of the journal.
The submission should be accompanied by a Covering Letter, which must include the following details:
- Name of Author(s)
- Email:
- Contact No.
- Institutional Affiliations (if any)
- Academic Qualifications
