Vidisha Joshi is working as an Assistant Professor of Law at the School of Law, Sharda University. Prior to this, she served as an Assistant Professor of Research at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar. She has over two years of experience in teaching, research, and training. At GNLU, she was actively involved in a research project on the functioning of Childcare Institutions in India, funded by the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata, where she worked as a Research Associate. She was also a member of the Training Division at GNLU, Gandhinagar and the Co-coordinator of PG Diploma in Medical Law, Policy and Ethics, a one of its kind PG Diploma programme for medical professionals. She is currently pursuing Ph.D. on the subject of juvenile recidivism from GNLU, Gandhinagar. She completed her undergraduate studies at Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, Bangalore, with a specialization in Criminal Law, graduating as a gold medallist. She earned her postgraduate degree from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, with a specialization in Technology and Law, where she secured second rank in her cohort.
