About the Programme
The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a Specialization in AI-Enabled Health Informatics is an interdisciplinary programme that bridges artificial intelligence, data science, and healthcare. Designed to prepare students for the next generation of intelligent healthcare systems, the curriculum integrates foundational computing courses with domain-specific expertise in biomedical applications. Students gain in-depth knowledge in:
- Core subjects such as Health Informatics Foundations, Applied AI and ML in Health Informatics, Cognition and Cognitive Process Modelling, Computational Intelligence, Big Data Analytics in Healthcare, Computer Vision in Biomedical and Clinical Applications, Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning in Medical Imaging, and Medical IoT (MIoT): Technologies, Devices, and Applications.
- Program electives span areas such as Bioinformatics, Digital Signal and Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Natural Language Processing in Health Informatics, Web and Software Technologies for Healthcare Information Systems, Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS): Concepts and Implementation, Modeling and Simulation of Biological Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, AI in Drug Discovery and Personalized Medicine, Telemedicine and mHealth, AR/VR in Healthcare Informatics, and Quantum and High-Performance Computing.
