About the Programme

The B.A. in Film, Television & OTT Production is a three-year undergraduate programme offered by the Sharda School of Media, Film and Entertainment that blends critical understanding with intensive experiential learning. Designed for future-ready visual storytellers, the course offers hands-on training in all aspects of production—from scripting and direction to cinematography, editing, and post-production. Students work on fiction and documentary projects while exploring the history and evolution of Indian and global cinema. The programme incorporates the latest media trends such as AI-assisted editing, virtual production, OTT content development, and immersive storytelling. Learning is enriched through regular masterclasses by industry experts, workshops, studio visits, and live production assignments. This career-focused programme equips students to create content for films, television, and digital platforms like Netflix and YouTube or to launch their own ventures in the entertainment industry.
