Seminar on “Innovative Teaching Styles Used in Nursing Education”

The healthcare environment is evolving every day, nursing education must also go beyond the traditional lectures style to preparing students for real world challenges. Innovative teaching methos enhance critical thinking, clinical decision-making, communication skills, and hands-on experience. Innovative teaching in nursing education not only enhance student learning but also prepare future nurses to think critically, communicate effectively, and provide safe, compassionate care. Integrating technology, active learning, and real-world experiences is key to shaping competent and confident nurses.
A seminar on “INNOVATIVE TEACHNIG STYLES USED IN NURSING EDUCATION” was organized on April 21st, 2025 at 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in Sharda School of Nursing Science and Research, Conference Room, 007. The goal of the event was to promote usage of innovative teaching styles strategies while teaching students. The faculty members were taught the importance of course file and utilization of innovative strategies for clinical decision making. The resource person Ms. Amrita A. Sivasanker, Associate Professor, elaboratively explained the teaching styles with examples for better understanding of students in class. Faculty members benefited a lot and gained new learning.
