About the Programme

M.Tech CSE Networking & Cyber Security is a two-year post-graduate programme that deals with the study of network computing, troubleshoot, cryptography and laws. II. Syllabus for the Courses:

Mathematical and Statistical Techniques: In this subject the fundamental concepts and principles of Mathematical & Statistical Techniques together with the challenging issues in Computer Science software development will be introduced.  Discussion on various topics related to mathematics and Computer Science will also be conducted. 

Design and Analysis of Algorithms: This course introduces concepts related to the design and analysis of algorithms. Specifically it discusses recurrence relations and illustrates their role in asymptotic and probabilistic analysis of algorithms. It covers in detail greedy strategies divide and conquer techniques dynamic programming and max flow - min cut theory for designing algorithms and illustrates them using a number of well-known problems and applications.

Advance Computer Network: This course covers a set of advanced topics in computer networks. The focus is on principles architectures and protocols used in modern networked systems such as the Internet itself wireless and mobile networks high performance networks and data center networks.

Advance Network Security: his course provides students with in-depth study and practice of advanced concepts in applied systems and networking security including security policies access controls IP security authentication mechanisms and intrusion detection and protection.

Digital Crime & Forensic Investigations: This course covers the fundamentals of computer forensics and cyber-crime scene analysis. The various laws and regulations dealing with computer forensic analysis will be discussed. Students will be introduced to the emerging international standards for computer forensic analysis as well as a formal methodology for conducting computer forensic investigations.

Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Analysis: Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Tester Professional  course trains students to be proficient in conducting vulnerability assessments & exploiting the vulnerability through Penetration Testing. It is very valuable course that can benefit any information security program.

Soft Computing Techniques: This course introduces soft computing theories techniques and tools. Those are frequently required for understanding and developing the exploratory data analysis techniques and knowledge discovery and intelligent systems.

Advance Mobile Computing: This course will give you an understanding of mobile computer systems particularly in the context of wireless network systems such as 2G/3G/4G mobile telephony data networks and other wireless networks and infrastructure.

Advance Data Mining Techniques:

This course introduces advanced aspects of data mining encompassing the principles to analyze the data identify the problems and choose the relevant models and algorithms to apply and develop the abilities of critical analysis to data mining systems and applications.

Pattern Recognition: This course introduces neural computational paradigm for critical & implementable understanding of feature engineering.

Introduction to Cloud Computing: This course will give you an understanding of mobile computer systems particularly in the context of wireless network systems such as 2G/3G/4G mobile telephony data networks and other wireless networks and infrastructure.

Natural Language Processing:   This course introduces concepts of Basic  concepts of Natural Language and Grammar.

Cloud Services in Mobile: This course introduces the basic concepts of mobile cloud computing including: 1. The mobile computing technology used in modern smart phones 2. The cloud computing technologies used in existing data centers 3. The synergy of mobile and cloud computing and its applications Students will gain knowledge of: the fundamental principles of mobile cloud computing the major technologies that support mobile cloud computing the current challenges and primary areas of research within the field of mobile cloud computing and a basic understanding of the role of mobile cloud computing in the context of the everyday living

Applications Programming:   The course develops basic computer programming skills and algorithmic thinking with an emphasis on developing interactive database-driven applications for the World Wide Web.

Grid Computing: This course is designed to give a broad overview of the concept of grid computing and state-of-the-art grid software understanding and practical experience of how computational grids can be used to further research in science and technology.

Performance Modeling of Computer Communication network: This course introduces the techniques and tools needed to construct and analyze performance models of computer systems and communication networks. Such skills are indispensable for research-related careers.
