World Malaria Day on 25th April 2023

The Department of Community Medicine is observing “World Malaria Day” on 25^th April 2023 in collaboration with Suno Sharda FM Radio of Sharda University. The theme of World Malaria Day, 2023 will focus on ‘Preventive measures to control Malaria.

Objectives:

1. To promote awareness in the community about Malaria, its clinical features and management.
2. To sensitize the community regarding prevention of vector-borne diseases and its impact on health.

The activities planned are as follows:

Date:  25^th April 2023
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 02:30 p.m.

2023. SKIT by interns on 25^th April 2023.

Time:  10:30 am – 11:00 am.

Venue: Field practice areas of RHTC, Panchayatan and UHTC, Bhangel.

1. Health education in the community regarding Prevention and Treatment of Malaria and other Vector borne diseases by Dr Sachin and Dr Sangeeta.

Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm

Venue:  Field practice area of RHTC and UHTC.

• A radio talk show to be presented by Dr Mohammad Meraj Gohar and hosted by Saquib Alam in Suno Sharda FM.
