Zoobiya Islam is an Assistant Professor at the School of Allied Health Sciences, specializing in food science and technology with over 7 years of academic experience and 2 years in the food industry, she brings a balanced perspective of both research and practical application to the classroom. She is actively involved in curriculum development, student mentoring, and academic coordination of the B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics program. Dr. Zoobiya has contributed significantly to the field through 20+ publications in reputed national and international journals. Her research interests include starch science, food processing, and nutritional enhancement of traditional foods. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, she efficiently manages PeopleSoft operations and participates in various academic and professional development initiatives.
