About

Dr. Sudeep Varshney is currently posted as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at School of Engineering and Technology, Sharda University, India. He has obtained Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, Jharkhand. He has graduated in Computer Science & Engineering (with Hons.) from Dr. B.R.A. University, Agra, holds an M.S. degree in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani. Dr. Varshney has more than 19 years of experience in the field of teaching and administration.

Currently he is a member of IQAC and has the additional responsibility of overall coordinator of NIRF and AISHE of Sharda University. Prior to this he was the Deputy Controller of Examination of Sharda University for 02 years.

He has been the departmental co-ordinator from October 2007 to August 2009. He was appointed as Associate Dean Student Welfare of Sharda University in 2009 for a period of 01 year.

Dr. Varshney has been an active member of the syllabus designing committee and board of studies of Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Engineering & Technology Sharda University.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE USA, Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education, ISTE, Life member of Computer Society of India (CSI) and member of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), Singapore, Member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Hongkong, Member of Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), NYC, USA. He has attended many short term Quality Improvement Programme (QIP).

His area of research is wireless sensor networks, He has published several papers in various national and international conferences and journals.
