About

Dr. Sreejith S, Associate professor in SSCSE has over 16 years of expertise in teaching and research within Computer Science and Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, with his thesis focusing on "Feature Selection and Neural Network Optimization using Evolutionary algorithms for Clinical decision making". His academic background also includes a Master of Engineering in Computer and Communication Engineering from Anna University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Manonmanian Sundaranar University.

Dr. Sreejith's research interests are extensive, encompassing Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Data Mining, Optimization, Data Analytics, Bio-inspired algorithms, and Natural Language Processing. He is an approved Research Supervisor at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and is currently guiding a part-time research scholar. He is actively involved in professional services, acting as a reviewer for prominent journals such as "Computer in Biology and Medicine" and "Healthcare Analytics". He also serves as a subject expert for IT personnel recruitment and a question paper setter for various universities. His dedication to the academic and professional community is further highlighted by his professional memberships with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG)
