About

Media professional turned academician Dr. Sonali Srivastava has a vast experience of over two decades. Her field of specialization is Radio, TV & Multimedia Production. Digital Media & Gender studies has always been her area of interest and also her Doctoral Research domain.

In the media industry, she has worked for many documentaries promotional & corporate films produced for UP Government (2013), Rashtrapati Bhawan, Delhi Metro, Ministry of Agriculture, Haier, Suzuki, IFB, Videocon & many more.  She has also been associated with the various academic & industry organizations including few like IIMC, JMI, JR Media Institute (run by Punjab Kesari), IES Bhopal, Jagran Prakashan Group, Zee News and many more.

Presently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Media Film & Entertainment, Dr. Sonali has around 20 publications as books, book chapters and research papers  and has produced E-Content for Vyas Channels of CEC-UGC and Swayamprabha DTH Channel 05 (Prabandhan) of MoE, Government of India.

Dr. Sonali is also heading Sharda University's Suno Sharda 90.8 FM, Greater Noidas very own Community Station, where she has initiated and completed various consultancy projects (Government and Non- Government funded) for community radio under her supervision. For her diligent efforts & contribution for the awareness programme during Covid 19 Pandemic Dr. Sonali has been awarded by Partrakar Press Mahasangh and recognized by various reputed organisations like UNICEF , Room to Read and SMART Foundation . She is also awarded with “SASHAKT NARI SAMMAN”, Best Educator- Community Radio, and recognized by NISCORT for her exceptional individual accomplishments and distinguished contribution in media and education.
