About

Shifa Shah is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology, Sharda University. She has 2 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University (LPU). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar and completed her M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra.

Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Explainable AI (XAI), Computer Vision, Medical Image Analysis, Healthcare Informatics, Generative AI, Cloud Computing, and Multimodal Learning. She is actively engaged in developing trustworthy and explainable AI models for medical image analysis, with a particular emphasis on the early detection of lung and colon cancer.

Ms. Shah has authored 13 research publications in reputed international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters published by leading publishers, including Springer and Wiley. Her research contributions span AI-driven healthcare, histopathological image analysis, cloud security, generative AI, and intelligent computing. She is committed to promoting research, innovation, and student-centric learning while integrating emerging technologies into teaching and interdisciplinary research
