I am Ms. Shaifali Sharma, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SSCSE), Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Sharda University. I have 6 years and 5 months of teaching experience in higher education. I hold a B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Computer Science and am currently pursuing my Ph.D. My areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Analytics, with a focus on applying these technologies to solve real-world problems.
Throughout my academic journey, I have been dedicated to delivering quality education, mentoring students, and promoting research and innovation. I believe in creating an interactive learning environment where students can strengthen their conceptual understanding while developing practical and analytical skills. Along with teaching, I actively participate in curriculum development, academic coordination, research activities, and student project guidance.
Research has been an important part of my professional growth. I have published more than 20 research papers, including over five Scopus-indexed publications, in reputed international journals and conferences. My research contributions span areas such as medical image analysis, healthcare applications of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and intelligent decision support systems. I am passionate about exploring emerging technologies and contributing to impactful research.
My academic and professional contributions have been recognized through several awards and appreciation certificates. I received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh for being the Best Performer during a training program conducted by C-DAC Mohali. I was honored with the Best Faculty Award by Chandigarh University for my academic performance during the Academic Year 2024. I also received appreciation certificates from the Coursera Team for serving as the Coursera Co-Coordinator and from AICTE for successfully organizing an ATAL Faculty Development Program (FDP) as a Co-Coordinator.
To continuously enhance my knowledge and teaching skills, I have completed several Faculty Development Programs and professional certifications from organizations such as C-DAC, AICTE ATAL Academy, MSME, IEEE, and NAAC. I believe in lifelong learning and strive to integrate the latest technological advancements into my teaching and research. My goal is to contribute meaningfully to academia by fostering innovation, encouraging research, and preparing students to excel in the rapidly evolving field of Computer Science.
