Rashid Hashmi is a senior journalist having a vast experience of over 20 years in Broadcast, Digital and Print Media. Before joining Sharda University he was working as an EXECUTIVE EDITOR and SENIOR ANCHOR in leading national news channel India News. During his TV NEWS career of almost two decades he worked in various roles in Dainik Jagran Newspaper, ETV, Total TV, FM News and India News. Rashid Hashmi anchored, debated and did ground zero reporting of various parliamentary and assembly election. He Interviewed prominent political, sports and bollywood personalities such as all of the ministers of Yogi Cabinet, various Union Ministers, Gen VK Singh, Amar Singh, Azam Khan, Shivpal Yadav, Raja Bhaiya, Sakshi Maharaj, Pravin Togadia, Vinay Katiyar, Indresh Ji, Malini Awasthi, Ravi Kishan, Hans Raj Hans, Digvijay Singh during parliamentary elections 2019, cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Kangana Ranaut, Sunny Leone, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, John Abraham etc.
