Prof Dr Vijai Kumar Gupta is working as an Associate Professor in School of Biotechnology, Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland. He is also working as Distinguished Professor in the department of Lifesciences, School of Bio-Sciences and Technology at Sharda University, Greater Noida, India.

His research areas focuses on Biomass Valorisation to Bioproducts Development, Enzyme & Bioprocess Technology, Bio-inspired Biobased Nanomaterials, Bioactive Natural Products, Functional Microbiome and Microbial Engineering Biotechnologies, Bioremediation Technologies for Environmental Sustainability. He has published a total of 290 Papers; 42 Books; 48 Book Chapters.
