She is a professor, an academician, with a passion for Textiles Science,Designand developing the apparels, Sustainability, Traditional crafts and teaching peadagogy. She has completed her Ph.D. in Dyeing Terrycot with natural dyes from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. She earned her Masters degree in Clothing and Textiles on consumer and brand research. She has studied various fundamentals of Textiles Science, Fibres, Apprel development fashion designing and merchandising, clothing physiology, Foreign Languages, photography at various levels of studies and has been teaching from last 17 years. She has contributed in curriculum development of UG and PG, Degree courses in Design at SNDT University Mumbai, Rajasthan Agricultural University,Bikaner, and Affiliated institute of Punjab technical university she has published research papers and book chapters on Gender equality, Digitalization of education, Branding strategies in various journals and books of national and international publication.
