About

Mr. Vishvendra Pal Singh Nagar is an Assistant Professor at the Sharda School of Computing Science and Engineering, Sharda University. He is an experienced academician and industry professional with a strong blend of over 12 years of industrial experience and 1.5 years of teaching experience, enabling him to effectively integrate industry practices with academic learning.

He has completed his Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) and earned his Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree from Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU). His academic qualifications, combined with extensive industry exposure, provide him with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of computing technologies.

Mr. Nagar has worked extensively in the automation industry, gaining hands-on experience in industrial automation systems, embedded solutions, and real-time control applications. He possesses strong expertise in web server technologies and full-stack web development, with experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web-based applications. Additionally, he has significant experience in firmware development, embedded programming, and system-level integration.

He has been actively involved in the development of IoT-based applications, including sensor networks, device communication, data acquisition, and cloud-integrated solutions. His technical interests span the complete IoT ecosystem, from hardware interfacing to cloud and edge integration.

As an academician, Mr. Nagar focuses on experiential and outcome-based education, encouraging students to participate in hands-on labs, live projects, and industry-oriented problem-solving. His teaching methodology emphasizes strong fundamentals, innovation, and practical exposure.

His research interests include Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Internet of Things (IoT), and Edge and Cloud Computing. Currently, he is engaged in research on IoT networking over wired and wireless communication technologies, with a focus on 4G, 5G, and LTE communication systems, aiming to enhance network efficiency, reliability, and scalability for next-generation IoT applications.

Mr. Nagar actively contributes to institutional and departmental activities, including student mentoring, curriculum development, laboratory enhancement, and technical event coordination. With a strong commitment to teaching, research, and innovation, he continues to contribute to the academic growth of the institution and the professional development of students
