Michail Barmpas is Professor in Marketing and Strategy & Head of Department of Study Abroad Programs at Sharda University, Delhi NCR, India from 2009 to date. Prior to that he was Instructor at City University of Seattle, WA, USA, Lecturer in Business at European University, Montreux, Switzerland, and Vocational Business Lecturer at New York College, Athens, Greece. In addition, he has worked as Associate Lecturer in Business Management at University of Surrey, Guildford, UK, and Adjunct Instructor for SUNY Empire State College, Saratoga Springs, NY, USA. He is Fellow of Chartered Management Institute, UK, and has been Corporate Trainer for Coca Cola HBC, Delhaize Group, Dixons Retail UK, Laiki Bank Guernsey, Klimatair Group and others.
Michaei Barbas has earned an MBA from University of Strathclyde, UK, MA from The University of Liverpool, UK, and BA from The American College of Greece. In addition, he pursued studies at Heriot Watt University, UK, University of Texas at Austin, USA, University of Queensland, Australia, University of Ulster, UK, and Harvard University, USA. Further, he is Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), UK, Scholar. His research interests are in marketing strategy, product and brand management, relationship marketing, scenario planning, strategy development, and institutional strategic management processes and he has published widely in these areas.
