About

Dr. Manti Debnath is an Assistant Professor at the Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences, Sharda University. She holds a Ph.D. in Life Science with specialization in Animal Genetics and Breeding, along with an M.Sc. in Microbiology and a BMLT degree. She has professional experience as Scientist B (Non-Medical) under an ICMR-funded project on Health System Preparedness for Non-Communicable Diseases and has served as an Assistant Professor at Noida International University. She has also contributed to national and international research projects funded by WHO, CDC, and the Ministry of Health, Government of India, including the Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS-2) in collaboration with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, as well as adolescent health projects with HOPRAD. Her areas of expertise include gene expression, nucleic acid isolation, cDNA/RNA/DNA library preparation, and public health surveillance. She is passionate about teaching, research, and community health, with extensive fieldwork experience among tribal populations in Northeast India.
