Dr. Khushboo Kumari is an Assistant Professor of History at School of Humanities and Social Sciences in Sharda University, Greater Noida. Dr. Kumari has completed her M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and did her graduation from Delhi University. Her doctoral thesis titled, “From Vijayanagara to the Marathas: A Study of the Religion and Political Economy of Western Deccan, 1500-1700 A.D” was awarded in 2018. Dr. Khushboo began her career as an Assistant Professor in Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She has worked in various colleges of University of Delhi both as an Assistant Professor and Guest Faculty. Her last assignment before joining Sharda University was at Symbiosis, Noida as a visiting faculty.
Her teaching and area of expertise includes (but are not limited to) Socio-Cultural, Religion, Political Economy, and issues related to it. She is also interested in introspecting and understanding the historical factors behind the State formation. Dr. Khushboo has presented her work at various national and international conferences. Her research papers have been published in UGC Care List 1 and Scopus Journals. She is the Member of Indian History Congress (Membership No. AM 24354) & International Society for Regional History Conference (ISRH). (Membership No. 22490). She is also the Reviewer for International Journal of Research and Innovation in Applied Science (IJRIAS) ISSN: 2454-6194.
