Dr K. R. Gola is a Bachelor of Commerce and Master in Business Administration (MBA) having more than 14 years of working experience in Academics and Research. Dr Gola teaches specialization courses for M.Com, such as Advanced Managerial Accounting and Advanced Tax Laws, and B.COM/BBA ACCA (UK) courses such as Cost Accounting and Income Tax Law & Practice. Some of the other courses he has taught are Tax Procedure and Management, Entrepreneurial Finance, and Corporate Finance. He also holds a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M.COM), qualified UGC-NET in Management, and Ph.D. in Banking and finance. As a faculty member of the finance, his main areas of core competence are Finance and Taxation. He has extensive experience in Industry liaisoning with ISDC (ACCA, UK) in the development of the ACCA program. He accompanied students on research and internship trip for one month to Payap University, Thailand. Dr K. R. Gola has written one text Book titled ‘Fundamentals of Financial Accounting- Special focus on Green and Inflation accounting. He has published several research papers in Scopus-indexed and in referred journals of National and International repute. He has also participated and presented research papers at national and international conferences. He is a keen learner and undertakes MOOC courses, FDPs, MDPs every year to continuously upgrade his knowledge and teaching pedagogy on new developments in the industry which helps him in teaching as per industry standards and enhancing students employability. Dr. Gola also handles various other academic responsibilities such as coordinators for the M.Com Program, development of course structure for the M.Com and ACCA program, and various departmental level activities.
