About

Dr. Ranjana Pande is currently serving as Assistant Professor-cum-Department Coordinator in the Department of Food Science and Technology at Sharda University. She holds a Ph.D. in Food Science and Processing from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

Before joining Sharda University, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Technology at Ganpat University.

Dr. Pande has contributed to thirteen book chapters, twelve research papers, and presented at eighteen national and international conferences. She is a life member of the Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (India), an honorary member of the 3E Innovation Foundation, an Associate Editor of Food Science and Technology Letters, Advisory board member of International Journal of Nutrition and Health Science, and a board member of NL Journal of Agriculture and Biotechnology.

She has also served as a Professional Scientific Advisory Committee member at Phytoelixir Pvt. Ltd., an innovation-based biotech startup recognized under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

In academics, Dr. Pande has guided numerous M.Sc. and B.Sc. students in dissertation work and is currently supervising three Ph.D. scholars. Alongside teaching and research, she also holds key academic responsibilities, including Overall Board of Studies member, Ph.D. Coordinator, Teaching Scheme Coordinator, and NAAC Criterion 1 Coordinator.
