Dr. Utkarsh is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering. His research focuses on innovative geotechnical engineering solutions, particularly in the stabilization of expansive soils using conventional stabilizers and novel materials like EPS beads. He specializes in integrating machine learning approaches with traditional geotechnical engineering, developing data-driven methodologies to predict soil behavior and enhance infrastructure resilience.

Utkarsh has established himself as a productive researcher with numerous SCIE publications in high-impact journals. His work spans both geotechnical and structural engineering domains, contributing to advances in soil stabilization, composite materials, and structural analysis.
