About

Dr. Sushant Singh is currently working as Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at the Sharda School of Bio-Science & Technology, Sharda University. He earned his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from IIT Guwahati in July 2014 and has an extensive postdoctoral research experiences at leading institutions, including the University of Central Florida, Ohio State University, and the SBP Medical Discovery Institute in the USA.

Dr. Singh's impressive contributions to research include 14 patents (1 International and 13 National) and over 50 research articles published in peer-reviewed International journals. He has presented his work at more than 50 International and National conferences, frequently as a keynote speaker, and has received numerous accolades for his contributions. As an active reviewer for esteemed journals in Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Life Sciences, Dr. Singh is recognized for his critical insights and expertise.

His research excellence is further highlighted by his success in securing funding as a Principal Investigator for SERB(SRG) and MSME Idea Grant for Prototype Development as  research project.

Beyond his research achievements, Dr. Singh is deeply committed to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. As a Member of the Innovation Ambassador at the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India, he actively promotes entrepreneurial initiatives and innovative thinking in academia and beyond.
