About

Dr. Sufyan Ghani is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Sharda University. He has completed his Ph.D. in 2022 from Department of Civil Engineering National Institute of Technology Patna. He completed his Masters from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi in 2109 and B.Tech from Sharda University, Greater Noida (U.P) in 2017. His research focus is on Computational modeling of geotechnical problems associated with soil liquefaction for fine-grained soil deposits. He has 35 research publications including high impact factor journals, National and International conference, and book chapters in geotechnical engineering domain. He has participated/attended more than 35 conferences, short term technical courses, faculty development programme, workshops and seminars in India and abroad. He is recipient of MHRD scholarships during his masters (2017-19) and doctoral (2019-22) studies. He serves as a senior and life time member to several educational and research bodies globally
