About

Dr. Showkat Ahmad Dar is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Sharda School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Sharda University, Greater Noida. He has completed his B.A and B.Ed from Kashmir University; his M.A. in Political Science from University of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya with Gold medal, Indore and M.A Public administration from Indra Gandhi national Open University; and his Ph.D. from Annamalai University Tamil Nadu, and His Post–Doc from Melbourne, Australia-University. His research interests include E-Governance, Mobile Governance, Public Policy, Human Rights, and Digitization in administration, Technology and diplomacy and Cyber Crime. He has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Govt Degree College Handwara and Govt Degree College Baramulla and a Teaching Assistant at Annamalai University. He has participated in conferences and paper presentation competitions, presenting on topics like E Governance, Mobile Governance, Cyber crime, Public Policy, Digitalization of administration and Human rights in Jammu and Kashmir. He has been published several articles in Web of Science, Scopus and UGC CARE journals and International peer reviewed Journals. He has published several books like Digitization of administration in India, Mobile Governance (m-Gov) in India, Research and Publication ethics, and Reinventing Public Administration in the Digital Era and Anatomy of Cybercrime in India.
