About

Dr. Piyush Mittal, Professor & Dean, School of Pharmacy, Sharda University is having more than 24 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, academia and research. He was former Head of Department of Pharmacy Practice and Lead, Experiential Learning at International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His expertise includes Experiential learning, Problem based learning, Case-based learning, Pharmacy skills development, Bed side teaching, Patient counselling and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). He is a lead, MYDISPENSE (simulation learning virtual dispensing developed by Monas University, Australia). He has guided more than 70 students (under-graduate/post-graduate) for their research work in India and abroad. He has published/presented more than 80 research papers in National/International journals, conferences. He is certified for Good Clinical Practice by Ministry of Health, Malaysia. He is life member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Qualitative Research Association of Malaysia. He is member of Malaysian Association of Education in Medical and Health Sciences, Malaysian Diabetes Educators Society, ISPOR (International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research). He is Life member of Association of Pharmacy Professionals (AAP) and President, AAP Uttar Pradesh Branch. He has been awarded for the successful development of Master of Pharmacy Practice (Group Category award by International Medical University, Malaysia). He has been awarded ISPOR (International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research) international travel grant to attend ISPOR EUROPE 2018 at Barcelona, Spain.
