Dr. Mansi Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics & Environmental Sciences at Sharda School of Engineering and Science, Sharda University, Uttar Pradesh, India. She completed her Ph. D. in 2023 in the field of Environment Science from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. She completed her B. Sc. in 2013 in Biomedical Sciences from Delhi University, India and M. Sc. in 2015 in Biodiversity and Conservation, University School of Environment Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. She was a rank 1 holder and gold medalist in M. Sc. and qualified UGC-NET (JRF) in 2018. Her areas of research interest include Ecophysiology, Sustainable agriculture, Soil remediation, Abiotic stress, Heavy metal remediation, Plant growth regulators, Essential oils, Nanotechnology, Invasive species management, Biodiversity & Conservation, and Environmental remediation. She has published over 12 research/review articles in high impact factor journals of National/International repute (All Scopus/SCI-indexed) and 2 book chapters. Her most cited articles in the last few years include: 1. “Essential oils as anticancer agents: Potential role in malignancies, drug delivery mechanisms, and immune system enhancement” (published in the Journal of Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy; IF = 6.9) and 2. “Plant essential oils as biopesticides: Applications, mechanisms, innovations, and constraints” (Published in the MDPI Journal Plants; IF = 4.4). Currently, she has over 349 citations with an h-index (Scopus/Google scholar) of 8 and i-10 index (Google scholar) of 8. She has participated and presented her research work in a number of National and International Conferences. She is serving as the Editor of two upcoming books (Springer Nature, IGI Global Scientific Publishing). She is an active reviewer for the following journals: Journal of Energy Storage (by Wiley), Journal of Porous Materials (Springer Nature), Journal of Polymers and the Environment (Springer Nature), Discover Applied Sciences (Springer Nature), Journal of Materials Protection, and Exploration of Foods and Foodomics.
