About

Dr. S. Mahalakshmi is an accomplished academician and researcher in Computer Science with over 17 years of experience in higher education, teaching, and research innovation. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Madhav University in 2025, an MCA from Periyar University, where she ranked 5th in the university, and a BCA from Bharathiar University.

Her teaching career spans institutions in South India, North India and internationally, providing her with diverse academic exposure. She has served as Head of Department, Computer Science & Engineering at Lingayas Vidyapeeth, Haryana and also in Madhav University, Rajasthan overseeing faculty coordination, admissions, and curriculum restructuring. She has integrated industry trends into undergraduate syllabi, designed unit structures, and supervised research scholars in AI and ML.

Her research expertise includes Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Medical Image Processing, with contributions to Scopus indexed publications, patents, books, and chapters. She is a member of IEEE, ACM, and CSI, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
