About

Dr. Karthikeyan N. is a dynamic academic leader with over 25 years of experience in higher education, specializing in institutional quality assurance, accreditation strategy, and academic governance. His career spans both Indian and international universities, where he has consistently driven quality enhancement and academic transformation.

As Director of IQAC and former Dean of Academics and Dean–IQAC, he has successfully led institutions through NAAC, NBA, and NIRF accreditation processes. He is widely recognized for establishing strategic quality frameworks, fostering research excellence, and cultivating inclusive, student-centered academic environments.  

Dr. Karthikeyan is also a passionate advocate for curriculum innovation tailored to Generation Z learners, integrating emerging technologies, outcome-based education (OBE), and experiential learning models to enhance engagement, employability, and real-world problem-solving skills.

In his current role, he is spearheading the alignment of institutional practices with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring academic, research, and community engagement initiatives are fully integrated with the universitys vision of academic excellence, social responsibility, and global relevance.

Experience

With over 25 years of progressive experience in higher education across Indian and international institutions, Dr. Karthikeyan has served in pivotal academic and administrative roles including:

  • Dean of Academics
  • Head of Department (HoD)

He has provided extensive leadership in institutional accreditation and ranking processes such as NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and QS, playing a critical role in shaping quality assurance systems. He is a strategic contributor to academic governance, curriculum design, faculty development, and the creation of robust frameworks for continuous institutional improvement.
