About

Dr. Kanu Priya, is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology in the School of Basic Science and Research at Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. Her specialization is in animal biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, environmental biotechnology, and microbiology. She has been teaching graduate and postgraduate students of biotechnology. She has taught topics related to animal biotechnology, microbiology, bioprocess engineering, and solid waste management. She has authored more than 35 scientific articles and 6 book chapters from international publishers. She has received 40 lakhs project from Ministry of Ayush. She has also completed 2 small granted projects. She received a commendable research award for excellence in research during the years 2019, 2020, and 2021. She has served as an editorial board member and reviewer for several reputed international journals.

  • Invited talk in 8th International Conference on Functional Materials and Devices- ICFMD on the topic “Biogenic Nanoparticles: A Promising Frontier in Cancer Treatment” held on 6th-8th August, 2024 at University Malaya, Malaysia.
  • Oral presentation in 13th International Conference on Environment, Energy and Biotechnology on the topic “Biosynthesis of Copper Oxide Nanoparticles Using Aqueous Sausage Bark Extract: Antioxidant and Anticancer Activities” held on 4-5 July, 2024 at University of Seoul, South Korea.
  • Invited Speaker on the topic “Nutraceuticals: Revolutionizing Health and Food”. International Conferences on Functionally of Food Components and Emerging Technologies in Life Sciences for Sustainability held on 16-17 October, 2023 at School of Applied & Life Sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.
