About

Dr. Azhar Equbal is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sharda University, India. He received his Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering from the National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT), Hatia, Ranchi, in 2018. His doctoral research focused on the investigation and application of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) for the fabrication of electrodes used in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), with particular emphasis on process characteristics, electrode fabrication, and their implications for EDM performance. His research interests encompass additive manufacturing, particularly FDM-based fabrication, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), advanced manufacturing processes, and optimization of manufacturing and production processes. His academic and research contributions include publications in peer-reviewed international and national journals, book chapters, and presentations at national and international conferences.
