Dr. Avinash Kumar Sharma having 19+ years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience in Computer Science & Engineering, along with a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Nitin (University of Cincinnati, USA) from Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun (State Govt. University), Uttarakhand, India, centred on cloud computing and resource optimization using hybrid intelligence techniques.
Currently, serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Sharda University, Greater Noida. Dr. Sharma also working as M.Tech Program Coordinator and actively contributing to NBA accreditation, NIRF and QS Rankings. His academic journey has included leadership roles such as Professor & Head – CSE at ABES Institute of Technology.
His research interests lie in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Emerging Technologies, and he is having Scopus count of 72 including journals articles, conference papers, edited books & book chapters with international publishers such as Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, CRC & IGI Global. He edited books with Wiley, CRC, IGI Global USA & Bentham. Dr. Sharma also authored a book on topic Advanced Machine Learning: Fundamentals and algorithms with BPB Publication. Additionally, he has published multiple patents related to AI-driven systems and intelligent computing solutions. I have also actively participated in international conferences, served on reviewer panels, and contributed to technical program committees.
Beyond research, Dr. Sharma strongly believe in experiential and innovation-driven learning. He has mentored teams in Smart India Hackathon, where students secured a national-level award. .
